Last Wednesday, April 19, HCAOA members from Wisconsin met with legislators to advocate for home care and caregivers within the state.
According to Wisconsin Chapter Legislative Chair Mindy Ochs, President of Home Instead of Janesville, “[Advocacy Day] was a huge success and… very easy. I heard really good feedback from attendees and my meetings went really well. All [the legislators and staff] that I spoke to shared [their own] personal story about caregiving, showing they really get it and understand the importance.”
Thank you for attending Wisconsin Advocacy Day and speaking up for home care in Wisconsin!
