Vicki Hoak
Chief Executive Officer

Vicki is a dedicated and long-time advocate for the home-based care industry. She expanded her influence from the state level, serving as CEO of the Pennsylvania Homecare Association for 20 years, to the national level when she joined HCAOA as Executive Director in November 2019. Vicki sets the Association’s strategic direction and leads the charge for the industry on a number of key professional and policy issues. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Shippensburg University.

Jennifer Battista, MBA

Jennifer's focus is on recruiting new members to be part of the largest collection of home care agencies in the country and forming partnerships to benefit member agencies. Jennifer also works to strengthen HCAOA’s state chapters. Previously, she served as Chief Operating Officer for the Pennsylvania Homecare Association, and also worked for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Ithaca College, and a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) from West Chester University.

Eric Reinarman

Eric manages lobbyists in state capitals across the country to ensure they remain focused on HCAOA’s legislative priorities. He tracks key legislation at the federal, state, and local levels to keep members informed about laws and policies that could impact their businesses. Prior to joining HCAOA, Eric was Policy Counsel and Director of State and Local Government Affairs for one of the largest hotel owners associations in the country. Eric grew up in Coral Gables, Florida and graduated from American University. He is a lifelong Miami Hurricanes fan despite going to Florida State University for law school.

Andrea joined HCAOA in June 2012, and currently serves as the Meeting and Education Manager. She is responsible for planning the Annual Leadership Conference, as well as HCAOA educational programming throughout the year. During her career as an event planner, Andrea has had the privilege of serving a variety of nonprofit organizations while working for SmithBucklin Corporation in Chicago, IL. She also had the opportunity to serve organizations such as Eli Lilly and the NCAA.

Rachel Edwards

Rachel manages the marketing, branding, and communications strategies for HCAOA, overseeing the content for HCAOA's weekly e-newsletter, Home Care Insider, and magazine, The Voice, as well as managing email marketing, social media, and the association website. In her more than 20 years of experience in public relations and marketing, Rachel has served a broad variety of clients as both an employee and freelance consultant. She often worked with clients in health care, information technology and the non-profit realm. Rachel has a Bachelor’s Degree from Messiah College in Communications with a minor in English and is a long-time member of local and national PR trade associations. In her free time, Rachel enjoys spending time with family and friends, cheering on her boys at various sporting events and volunteering for wonderful causes.
