Today the U.S. Senate Special Committee on Aging Will Hold a Hearing to Improve Services for Veterans & Caregivers

Earlier this week, the U.S. Senate Special Committee on Aging announced that it would hold a joint, full committee hearing entitled “Heroes at Home: Improving Services for Veterans and their Caregivers.”

​The Hearing will be held today, June 5, at 10:00 a.m. ET. You can view the hearing live by clicking here. 

The hearing will focus on the needs and experiences of veterans and caregivers, with a particular focus on long-term care services provided by the VA. We believe the hearing will also touch on topics such as H.R.8371, the Senator Elizabeth Dole 21st Century Veterans Healthcare and Benefits Improvement Act. This bill has been an HCAOA priority for some time and would enable more veterans to remain in their homes as they age.
