In accordance with the budget bill adopted by the 134th General Assembly, the Ohio Department of Medicaid is implementing rate increases for many of Ohio’s fee-for-service home- and community-based services (HCBS) waiver programs. The rate increases are a result of House Bill (HB) 110, Ohio’s biennium budget for state fiscal years 2022 and 2023. They affect the following state plan services and waiver services supported through the Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM), the Ohio Department of Aging (ODA) and the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD).
Percentage increases for program-specific services are listed below. Increases are effective as of November 1:
Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) 5160-46-06 and 5160-46-06.1 rules enumerate the above rate changes.

As a connected healthcare provider for personal emergency response systems for Ohio’s Medicaid waiver and HCBS services, can you clarify if the 6.1% is applicable to PERS under LTSS and state waivers like Passport and MyCare Ohio?
