Ohio Department of Health Holds Stakeholder Meeting on Proposed License Regulations

​On July 26, the Ohio Department of Health held a virtual stakeholder meeting to discuss the proposed regulations for the licensure of Home Health Agencies and Non-Agency Providers, which will begin on October 1, 2022. The HCAOA Ohio Chapter had previously sent recommended regulations in March. 

On July 18, ODH distributed their draft proposed regulations for discussion during the stakeholder meeting. Aaron Stapleton, Chair of the HCAOA Ohio Chapter, provided a summary of the meeting and is leading HCAOA’s efforts to work with the ODH on these important regulations. During the meeting, ODH said the application for licensure will be made available in mid- to late-August and will be posted online. This application will need to be printed out and mailed to ODH.
