Nominations for the HCAOA Board of Directors Close this Friday

Time is running out to submit nominations for the Home Care Association of America’s Board of Directors! Nominations are due this Friday, October 21, 2022. Support the home care industry and affect the future of home care by applying to serve on the Board. There are five open seats – two for independent agency members and three for corporate member representatives. 

HCAOA’s Board contains corporate and independent home care industry leaders to best represent the membership. The Board guides and influences the national conversation about home care, industry standards, workforce shortage solutions, affordability, and financing care.
 
To ensure that HCAOA Board members have the experience and expertise to direct and guide the Association, the following minimum criteria will be in effect for all candidates:

1. Must be on a leadership team of a member agency
2. Must be a HCAOA member for at least three years
3. Must anticipate being available to actively serve during the entire three-year term
4. A minimum of three years of home- and community-based care (HCBC) experience preferred
5. A minimum of two years of involvement with HCAOA, including state chapters, national committee, education committee or task force
