New Year, New Opportunity to Invest in Your Career: HCAOA’s Successful Entrepreneur Academy is Back!
Leaders and entrepreneurs in the health care environment require a variety of skills to be successful. From leading teams to engaging referral sources and clients, health care entrepreneurs need to effectively use many strategies for success. Last year, HCAOA launched the first Entrepreneur Academy, an MBA-style program that provides insight into behavioral tendencies and human interactions, enabling participants to have a deeper understanding of how they communicate and how to engage others for successful outcomes. Participants overwhelmingly deemed the program a success, so HCAOA is bringing it back for 2022!
The program, led by Dr. Tonya Y. Miller PT, DPT, PhD, an assistant professor in the physical therapy and MBA programs at Lebanon Valley College, and the founder of TYM Coaching, with over 25 years of experience in leadership and home care, combines learning about yourself and others with a toolbox of strategies for day-to-day operations. The distinguishing characteristic of this program is the structure. This one-year self-paced entrepreneur academy provides a blend of online learning, weekly mini topics, and group coaching sessions to ensure that leaders and entrepreneurs develop an effective strategy for future success.

The fee for this program is $1,200, but HCAOA members receive a discounted rate of $999 with a special code. Members, email email@example.com to get the discount code. The program opens April 1 and runs through September 30, and participants have one year to complete the coursework. Registration opens soon.
