​NEW JERSEY: HHSANJ Joins HCAOA as New State Chapter

​The Home Health Services Association of New Jersey (HHSANJ) has joined HCAOA as a State Chapter. HHSANJ has worked to address the needs of New Jersey’s health care service firms, including private pay and Medicaid providers.

“At HCAOA, we believe that there truly is no place like home, which is why we advocate for home care providers at the national level in Washington, DC, and in all 50 states,” said HCAOA Executive Director Vicki Hoak. “As the home care industry’s unified voice, HCAOA is pleased to work with such an outstanding organization in New Jersey that has a successful record of being a strong advocate for home care organizations and the clients they serve. New Jersey will join the ranks of our State Chapters, which provide education, information sharing, and regulatory support for our member agencies.

“We look forward to welcoming the HHSANJ members and leadership team to the HCAOA family,” she added. “There is strength in numbers, and we plan to build on the group’s past success and add their voices and expertise to the work we do across the country.”

“Joining the HCAOA family as a State Chapter will give New Jersey home care providers access not only to top-notch state representation in Trenton, but also an advocacy partner at the national level in Washington, DC, and the benefit of expertise from advocates all across the country,” said Adam Blecker, HSSA President. “As a State Chapter, we will also benefit from HCAOA’s strong network of thought leaders, innovative educators and experts, and vendor partnerships.”
