Learn how to Navigate Connecticut’s New Statewide Health Information Network (CONNIE) at December 13 Webinar

​The Connecticut state mandate for home care providers to enroll in the new CONNIE network has presented questions and concerns to HCAOA members. Home health care agencies are required to register with CONNIE by May 2023.
 
In response, HCAOA’s Connecticut Chapter is partnering with the Connecticut Association for Health Care at Home to present a webinar on Thursday, December 13, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., EST. The webinar is free for HCAOA members.

The webinar, “CONNIE 101 for Medicaid Home Care Providers: How the State will Oversee Quality Metrics and Benchmarks for Value-Based Payments,” will feature Amanda Crociata, LNHA, from CONNIE. She will share details about the secure and efficient clinical data exchange among participants and the Department of Social Services, show a demo of the program and CONNIE portal, and share further details about the state mandate to enroll in the program.
 
Note: To receive the 1% value-based payment, non-medical home care agencies must register with CONNIE. For more information about CONNIE and the requirements to participate in the exchange, visit conniect.org.
