Researchers at Johns Hopkins University’s Applied Physics Lab and Center for Health Security are looking for caregivers to participate in a focus group session about the COVID-19 vaccine. HCAOA encourages members to share this invitation with their caregivers.
During the session, caregivers will be asked to talk about their understanding of the vaccine, and how to get it. They will also be asked about how the vaccine is being talked about in their community, how getting the vaccine is being communicated to them and how they feel about the way the message is being communicated. This focus group is designed to help researchers understand how to meet home healthcare workers’ needs around vaccination.
The focus group will be conducted remotely over a 90-minute timeframe and will include 4-6 people. You may be uncomfortable answering some of the questions, related to COVID-19 and its effects. Participants do not have to answer all the questions and may stop at any time.
In recognition, participants will receive an Amazon gift card of $50.00.
