HCAOA Board Election – Results Are In!

​The voting is now closed for the 2022 HCAOA Board of Directors elections. Four incumbent members retained their seats, and two new members were elected to the Board.
Jisella Dolan of Home Instead and Kerri Pendley of FirstLight Home Care were elected for their first three-year term on the Board. Corporate members Ryan Green of BrightSpring Health, Steve Greenwald of ComForCare, and Cheryl Stanton of BrightStar Care, and independent member Jesse Petrea of Help at Home were re-elected to three-year terms.

​Jisella Dolan is Chief Global Advocacy Officer for Home Instead, which has more than 1,200 locations around the world. Jisella is a member of Home Instead’s Executive Team and leads its Advocacy division, which is dedicated to advocating for aging adults and their families, ensuring a quality care experience, helping transform healthcare delivery, and shaping aging and home care policy around the world. Jisella also serves as Strategy Officer for the World Economic Forum and on the WEF’s Global Council for the Future of Health Care and its Global Council for the Future of Longevity.

​Ryan Green serves as Director, Government Relations for BrightSpring Health Services. In this role, Ryan leads BrightSpring’s legislative and regulatory advocacy efforts in thirteen-states that span the Southeast, Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions and coordinates BrightSpring’s internal PAC and grassroots efforts nationally. Through this work, Ryan has successfully partnered with internal and external stakeholders to advocate for reimbursement increases and regulatory relief for BrightSpring’s services.

Steve Greenwald, Esq. serves as General Counsel for Best Life Brands, LLC, formerly ComForCare Health Care Holdings, LLC, an international multi-brand franchisor with over 450 locations in 42 states and in Canada. Best Life Brands is the parent company to Blue Moon Franchise Systems, LLC, Boost Franchise Systems, LLC, CarePatrol Franchise Systems, LLC, ComForCare Franchise Systems, LLC and PROHealth Home Care Services, Inc.

Kerri Pendley is Vice President of Strategy for FirstLight Home Care, LLC, where she is responsible for strategic planning and industry positioning for the entire organization, which has operations in 38 states. She has valuable knowledge across payer mixes, including Managed Care, Medicaid, Medicare, VA, Grants and Private Pay.

​Jesse Petrea is Vice President of Development, responsible for the growth and development of Help at Home throughout the southeastern United States by supporting organic growth and business acquisitions as well as Government Affairs leadership and relationships. He is also an elected member of the Georgia House of Representatives, and is currently chair of the Georgia House Human Relations and Aging Committee.

​Cheryl Stanton is the Chief Legal and Government Affairs Officer for BrightStar Care Franchising LLC since earlier this year. Prior to that position, she served as Administrator, Wage and Hour Division for the U.S. Department of Labor, and as a Senior Advisor to the Chief of Staff of the Social Security Administration.
