Fully Vaccinated... Now What?

As of Monday, March 8, the Centers for Disease Control updated their standards for people fully vaccinated against COVID-19. "Fully vaccinated" means it has been two weeks since you received your second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, or the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

​Once you are fully vaccinated, the CDC says you:

Can now:

• -Gather indoors with other fully vaccinated people without wearing a mask. 
• -Gather indoors with unvaccinated people from one other household without masks.
• -After a potential COVID exposure, you do not need to isolate or get tested - unless you have symptoms. (If you live in a group setting and were exposed to someone with COVID-19 you should still isolate and get tested.)

Still should: 

• -Avoid medium or large gatherings.
• -Delay traveling when possible.
• -Wear a mask and stay 6 feet from others in public.
• -Avoid gathering with unvaccinated people from more than one other household. 
• -Avoid visiting with an unvaccinated person who is at increased risk of severe illness or death from COVID or who lives with a person at increased risk. 
  

-Watch out for COVID-19 symptoms - isolate and get tested if they occur. 

​COVID-19 vaccines are effective at preventing the disease, and most importantly, prevent severe illness and death if you do still catch the virus. ​
