![]() With one-in-four West Virginians reaching the age of 65 by 2030, the opportunities and challenges for home care providers abound. WV home care providers are invited to learn strategies, advocacy tips, and how the Chapter is at work at the West Virginia Chapter Conference on Tuesday, April 18, from 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. One of the challenges facing home care providers in West Virginia is the low rate of Medicaid reimbursement for home care services. HCAOA West Virginia Chair Eric Hicks and Vice Chair Matt Walker will lead a discussion about how the chapter plans to address and advocate for a Medicaid rate increase, workforce shortages, and opportunities for reimbursement through VA Programs.
Register today for the conference by clicking here. The cost to attend is $50 for HCAOA members and $100 for non-members, which includes a continental breakfast and networking luncheon.
