2024 Preliminary VA Reimbursement Rates Released

Last week, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs released the preliminary 2024 Fee Schedule for the Community Care Network, effective February 1, 2024. The current fee schedule, which includes reimbursement rates for home care services, will remain in effect until then.

HCAOA is asking members to review the rates and let us know by this Friday if you have comments or concerns about the rate in your area. The HCAOA VA Advisory Council will then request the VA leadership to reconsider the reimbursement amount. Please understand that the VA is not obligated to make any adjustments to the preliminary schedule. Please provide a rationale for any additional amount needed in that market.
