Last week, Greg Gorton of Right at Home in Grand Blanc, Michigan, was recognized as the 2021 Caregiver of the Year during a special ceremony at the Michigan State Capitol. The event was held as part of the HCAOA Michigan Chapter Meeting and Capitol Day.
Gorton was selected as the top home caregiver in the country from nearly 250 nominees from 41 states. State Rep. Tim Sneller (D-50), who represents Greg in the Michigan House of Representatives, presented him with a signed proclamation on behalf of the House, Senate and the Michigan Governor. HCAOA Executive Director Vicki Hoak and Right at Home CEO Brian Petranick were also present to honor Greg.
