FINALIST

Kim Wilson

Private Home Care
St. Louis, MO

Picture
Kim sees her job as more than a job - to her, caregiving is a way of life. Her response to all compliments is simply "I love what I do".

You will always find Kim with a smile on her face and her personality lights up the room. One client’s family said they owe Kim a debt of gratitude because caregivers for the elderly, especially those with dementia and Alzheimer’s know that the daily and nightly routine of bathing, cleaning, dressing, engaging, and feeding the person in their care can be taxing. They realized they were not capable of shouldering this responsibility on their own. Kim quickly became an essential member of the family, not simply an employee, because she took on the psychological, as well as the emotional, mental and physical burden of caring for their mother.
