Jacqueline Holton

Village Caregiving
Barboursville, WV

Picture
Jackie is a tremendously dedicated, skilled, and reliable caregiver. She was the third person ever hired by Village Caregiving in 2013, when the agency was in its infancy. Since then, Jackie has placed the needs of her clients above her own needs, working an average of 60 hours per week. The agency estimates she has worked for more than 250 clients and families in West Virginia, Kentucky, and Ohio. She understands the importance of "home" because her son was forced to live in a nursing facility for many years due to his disabilities. Jackie drove for hours to visit her son every chance she got, during rare days off. Her dedication and work ethic have become part of Village Caregiving lore, with phrases being coined such as "Jackie Holton hours" (meaning A LOT of hours!) and her nickname Jackie "The Machine" Holton.
