Mike understands that caregiving is one of the highest callings in life. When he applied for the caregiver job, he was homeless, without a car, and recovering from drug addiction. Caregiving to him is like his therapy, so when he takes care of a client, he benefits as well. His self-confidence has skyrocketed.
 
Mike is willing to drive any distance to work with a client, sometimes traveling 200 miles per day! He cares for one client as though he were his dad or brother. They go on walks, to the local museum, to the doctor’s office for appointments, and on drives for a change of scenery.
