In Case You Missed It:
HCAOA submitted comments to the SC Department of Public Health in response to new proposed licensure regulations.

• Included in these comments were HCAOA’s opposition to regulations that would add significant expense and administrative burden to providers, such as more stringent drug testing requirements and an annual health assessment requirement for in-home caregivers. Click here to view the final draft of the comments submitted by the Chapter. 
• THANK YOU to the many HCAOA members who reviewed the new proposed regulations and submitted feedback for inclusion in the HCAOA South Carolina Chapter's public comments. Because of you, we were able to provide the department with a substantive, compelling set of feedback. We will keep members updated as we hear more about the final regulations.
