How to Support National Home Care Advocacy Day from Afar

Soon more than 100 HCAOA members will convene on Capitol Hill to talk with members of Congress about the policies shaping our industry. If you can't make it, you don't have to sit on the sidelines — join in our Advocate from Anywhere campaign.

This expansion of National Home Care Advocacy Day enables everyone — home care leaders, staff, caregivers, even friends and family — to speak up for home care at the same time our members are meeting with Congress, amplifying the message. 

In just a few minutes, you can send a message directly to your Members of Congress in support of policies that strengthen access to care, address workforce shortages, and protect providers. Specifically, we're advocating for these priorities:

• Reintroduce the Homecare for Seniors Act
• Establish a home care visa
• Repeal the Medicaid 80/20 provision
• Improve care for veterans
• Strengthen Medicaid program integrity
