HCAOA CEO Jason Lee Provides Policy Update to Franchisees at Visiting Angels Conference in Denver

Last week, HCAOA CEO Jason Lee joined Jay Perron, Partner at the Prism Group, for a panel discussion titled "Conversation with Capitol Hill: Policy and Political Update" at the Visiting Angels Annual Conference in Denver. Dan Drennen, Senior Vice President of Brand Administration, Visiting Angels, and HCAOA Board member, moderated the panel.

​Lee provided an overview of HCAOA and key association priorities, including state and federal advocacy, workforce development, and technology issues. Perron provided a glimpse of the current environment on Capitol Hill, as well as potential Capitol Hill leadership changes and upcoming policy challenges and opportunities. Both Lee and Perron discussed the importance of grassroots activities, which include attending advocacy days and submitting letters in support of key industry initiatives. Both panelists also provided a forecast of the upcoming election and the various issues that could impact voter turnout and voters' decisions.
