"Strategies to Reimagine Home Care Scheduling" will be held on Tuesday August 5, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. ET / 11:00 a.m. PT. This 90-minute webinar designed specifically for home care schedulers and care coordinators has grown each year and continues to be one of HCAOA's most successful educational offerings for a good reason: schedulers are the beating heart of any home care agency! Dear HCAOA-IN Members,
The Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) has issued Bulletin BT202595, which states that beginning July 1, 2026, all Indiana-based home health agencies (provider type 05) enrolled with IHCP will also be required to enroll as Medicare providers to remain eligible for Medicaid reimbursement. Dear HCAOA-Indiana Members,
The Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) has issued Bulletin BT2025105, outlining new reimbursement requirements for Attendant Care (ATTC) and Structured Family Caregiving (SFC) services, effective July 1, 2025. These changes include passthrough standards and new compliance attestations. Caregiver training requirements for home care agencies will not become law this year.
The General Assembly concluded its 2025 regular legislative session on June 4. About 3,800 bills were filed this year; 800 were approved by committee and 286 bills, including a two-year $55.8 billion state budget, passed both chambers and have been sent to the Governor’s desk for his approval and signature. Gov. Lamont has, to date, signed 165 bills, signed and line-item vetoed two bills, and vetoed two bills of the 2025 regular session. The HCAOA Texas Chapter will hold its inaugural meeting on the afternoon of Sunday, October 19 at the Hyatt Regency Dallas Hotel – the day before HCAOA kicks off the 2025 National Home Care Conference in our home state.
