2026 National Home Care Conference Wrap-Up and Highlights

More than 800 attendees, exhibitors, sponsors and speakers gathered at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld this week for the 2026 National Home Care Conference, two days that opened with a Hollywood keynote and closed with a session on scaling a home care business. ​

HCAOA's industry-leading event kicked off with a keynote from Henry Winkler, the Emmy Award-winning actor, director, producer and bestselling author whose career spans five decades in Hollywood, from Arthur Fonzarelli on "Happy Days" to his Emmy-winning performance on HBO's "Barry." Winkler shared his own story of overcoming challenges with the humor he's built a career on. 

Monday's breakout sessions gave attendees their first chance to dig into the conference's core educational programming, with topics ranging from employment law compliance and building a culture that attracts talent to referral marketing strategy and AI's growing role in day-to-day agency operations. 

Day 1 closed with a fireside chat titled What's Working, What's Changing & What's Next in Home Care, bringing home care leaders together for a candid conversation on running an agency today. 

Attendees closed out the day at a cruise-themed networking reception in the exhibit hall, an evening built around the connections the conference exists to make possible.

Tuesday's general session paired a featured presentation from Louie Gravance on unlocking the potential of service as a superpower with the Caregiver of the Year Award ceremony, where HCAOA announced Ingrid Mwansa of B'Zoe Care as its 2026 winner

Tuesday's breakout sessions carried the educational momentum forward, with topics covering compliance strategy, practical applications of AI in recruiting and client care, revenue growth, and the metrics top agencies use to retain caregivers and protect their margins. 

The conference closed Tuesday afternoon on the main stage with The Final Word: Scaling Smarter in the Next Era of Home Care.
