Announcement
HCAOA is aware of FSSA’s proposed policy regarding a 70/30 wage passthrough for personal care services. We are working closely with the Indiana Association for Home & Hospice Care to ensure that Gov. Braun’s administration and FSSA understand that this passthrough is not workable for our providers and would result in many clients losing access to the home care they rely on. This issue is actively developing, and we will communicate with members as soon as we have an update and opportunities to take action.

State Legislative and Regulatory TrackerUse the interactive tool below to learn more about the bills and regulations HCAOA is monitoring that could impact members in Indiana, in Washington, DC, and in states across the country. Click on a state then select a bill from the list of items below for a detailed description of the bill, its sponsors, and up-to-the minute status updates about its progress.
How are the bills and regulations below selected? Using FiscalNote’s software, HCAOA identifies bills and regulations related to workforce initiatives, funding, licensure, and other topics that could impact your business, which are discovered by home care-related keywords. It’s important to note that many of the bills you see for your state are simply proposed and may not necessarily be passed by the legislature. Additionally, the bills reference legislation and regulations introduced in 2025, and there may not be information for your state yet listed. To see when your state is in session for 2025, check out this resource. If you notice there is a bill or regulation in your state that is not listed, and you believe it should be, please reach out to [email protected] so HCAOA can review and ensure members have access to the most up-to-date information possible. |
