Prudence JaichonSpringpoint at Home, NJ |
Prudence takes exceptional pride in her professional role on the Springpoint at Home team. She works at Winchester Gardens, a premier luxury life plan community, with very prestigious clients. She is known to all on campus as the Lead Certified Homemaker-Home Health Aide (CHHA), and leader in customer care to her fellow workers and clients. Her clients residing in independent living have been the most complex medically, with conditions including progressive supranuclear palsy and severe anxiety. Prudence managed their doctors’ appointments, care communication, and emotional needs with great consistency, care and dedication. She takes clients from merely surviving to thriving with her holistic approach and calm, professional, positive organization. Clients say that they have had multiple CHHAs, and she is the shining star that gets the home spotless and organized, keeps the medical appointments and communication going, and engages the clients to find what brings them joy – all while providing consistent and dedicated personal care. Some clients credit her with keeping their parents alive and well through some very challenging medical situations. Every client she has says that she creates an overall wellness plan that goes beyond a simple care plan of ADLs. She loves her job and it shows!
She is described by so many families she has helped as a “miracle worker.” A family whose parents she cared for from 2019 until their passings in 2023 and 2025 recently said she served them with the utmost compassion. “Neither of them had simple needs. Dad suffered from a rare and complicated neurological disorder that causes serious problems with walking, eye movements, and ultimately the ability to speak and move. Mom suffered from severe anxiety and a myriad of physical ailments. Prudence cared for both of them and to concisely sum up her qualities, we would do so in two words: MIRACLE WORKER. Trudy was able to handle all of their medical issues, as well as their frustrations that arose from contending with those issues, in stride. She was reliable and kept the apartment immaculately organized. Medical professionals consistently relied upon her strong communication skills to help describe the medical issues they were experiencing, but could not articulate for themselves. She also kept us informed about how they were doing. Our family is forever grateful to her for the care she provided for the past six years. She worked tirelessly and reliably for long hours and never complained. We now consider her part of our family. There is no one better in her field."
